Bottomless Mimosa Guide: Lola’s

December 24, 2010

After exchanging all your presents and stuffing yourself silly over Christmas Eve and Christmas night dinners, why not treat yourself to a mimosa brunch on Sunday to celebrate surviving another holiday season?  You can enjoy your pancakes, bacon and boozing before next week brings talks of New Year’s resolutions, before you have delusional thoughts of diets, drinking less, and exercising more.

This week’s bottomless pick is our last bottomless mimosa post for the year, and although we’ll continue to post bottomless mimosa deals next year, we can’t say for sure that we’ll have enough spots to post on a weekly basis – to be honest, we’re even surprised we made it through this year with a new post every week!  So who get’s the honor of our last mimosa guide post of 2010? Lola’s.

Lola’s has been around forever, and is a great pick for us since it’s right in our hood.  Bottomless mimosa brunch at Lola’s is every Sunday from 10am-2pm.  The menu is full of your brunch regulars and is pretty standard in terms of pricing – pancakes, omelettes, and waffles, and most dishes running around $10.  The boozy details: $10 for bottomless mimosas, and $12 for either bottomless bloody marys or caesers – a Canadian’s bloody mary, made with vodka + clamato…….interesting.  Not sure about you, but I think I’ll stick with mimosas.  The only part of my breakfast I would even consider having Canadian is my bacon and I definitely can’t stomach the idea of clamato in the mornings.

UPDATE: Tried Lola’s brunch last weekend and it was delicious! The eggs benedict was perfect, the breakfast burger was awesome,  the fritata was… well, just okay. But the winner here was the bloody marys with horseradish infused vodka – YUM!

So add Lola’s to your list of boozy brunch picks and check it out some weekend soon!  Lola’s also has great happy hour deals, like $5 martinis and $5.50 apps, and a late night HH on Wednesdays!
