Last time we brought you brunch on a fake-beach in WeHo. This time we bring you a bottomless mimosa spot just a few blocks from the real deal (the real beach, that is…)
Boozy Brunch Hours: Sat & Sun, 10am – 2:30pm
Valentine’s Day falling on a Saturday certainly puts more pressure on going-out to celebrate the day of love. But we are not fans of over-priced prix-fixe dinners with 300% mark-up just because its a holiday, so we’ve rounded up a handful of options that won’t totally break the bank on the 14th. (PS: we will continue to update this post as we get closer to the holiday, so check back for new options!)
You already know we love the Seahawks. We’ve had Pete as our coach for 12 straight years now, from SC to Seattle, and every year our love for his bouncing along the sidelines, chawing his gum, and scrooge-mcducking, only grows stronger. So to say we are excited for this year’s #RePETE SuperBowl is a serious understatement.
Even more wonderful: this year’s Superbowl coincides with the end of Dry January!
A plethora of options for your SuperBowl watching + boozing needs:
There are a lot of reasons we rarely go to the beach here in LA: the drive (or Uber) to SaMo is a pain…. we’re not so keen on tanning with the city’s homeless population…. and even less keen to risk an open container charge on a public beach. So for those lazy winos like us: you can head to BeachNation instead: a fake beach in WeHo that serves booze and food…. And bottomless mimosas on the weekend.
Vacation here we come!
This makes us giddy with excitement. When we tried C&Ts last year we loved it, but were not so keen on $24 for a lobbie (aka basic-bitch speak for LOBSTER) sandwich.
But $5 Plates and $6 wine and $10 for 6 oysters? Yes, that we can do.
